Parent Code of Conduct

To ensure the overall development and safety of every child, parents are expected to follow the guidelines given below:

1. Child’s Care, Discipline & Health

  • Teach your child to follow school rules and maintain discipline.
  • Support the school in helping your child grow and succeed.
  • Inform the school about any medical condition, allergy, or medication.
  • Do not allow your child to bring mobile phones or electronic gadgets to school.
  • Help your child pack the school bag as per the daily timetable.
  • Ensure homework and projects are completed on time.
  • Encourage your child to become responsible and do quality work.
  • Motivate your child to actively take part in school events and activities.
  • Provide healthy food, proper sleep, and make sure your child has breakfast before school.
  • Send your child in neat uniform with the school ID card.
  • Do not send your child to school if suffering from any contagious illness until fully recovered.
  • If your child is unwell, avoid sending them on test or exam days.

2. Communication with the School

  • Contact the class teacher if your child is facing any problem.
  • Inform the teacher immediately in case of bullying or any issue.
  • Ensure your child carries the school almanac daily and check it regularly.
  • Keep your contact details updated with the school at all times.
  • Regularly check the school website, WhatsApp groups, and emails for updates.
  • Avoid sending personal messages in class WhatsApp groups; follow group rules.
  • Meet teachers only with prior appointment through the school reception.

3. Attendance & Leave Rules

  • Send leave applications in advance or when your child returns to school.
  • Submit proper documents or medical certificates for absence.
  • Minimum 75% attendance is required for promotion to the next class.
  • Do not encourage leave during exams or assessments.
  • Half-day leave on exam days may lead to cancellation of the exam.
  • Ensure your child reaches school at least 5 minutes before time. Latecomers may be sent back home.

4. Behaviour of Parents

  • Be respectful towards teachers, staff, students, and other parents.
  • Carry your Parent ID card when visiting the school.
  • Dress properly while visiting the school.
  • Be polite and cooperative with school staff.
  • Avoid speaking negatively about the school or teachers in front of your child.
  • Encourage a positive attitude in your child.
  • Follow up on any medical advice given after school health check-ups.
